Pet Vacations...couches, not cages!

Bonnie

Bonnie lives near Greenlake with her husband and Winston the King Charles Spaniel. Your dog will be safe, well cared for and truly in his home away from home! Retirement from teaching has allowed Bonnie to do something she LOVES! Bonnie creates an atmosphere where an animal feels safe, cared for, and truly at home. She respects each animal for his/her unique personality traits.

Her highest priority is communicating with her clients to ensure that the animals are receiving everything they need from her. Bonnie, her husband and her King Charles Spaniel, Winston, have a lovely home close to Greenlake, with a fenced yard. Small to medium dogs AND KITTY CATS are welcome!!

Carina

Carina lives in Queen Anne with a decent-sized, fenced-in backyard. There are plenty of parks in her area where your dog will get plenty of exercise and playtime.

Carina's mini poodle is good with other dogs, whether they are playful or want to be left alone. She is a rescue and though she is a little afraid of people, she is fine with other doggy friends.

Carina has experience working at a vet hospital, a pet store, as well as with the humane society, and is very comfortable if your pet has medication needs. Since she works at home most of the day, your pet will get plenty of attention.

Cindy

Cindy and Dan of Sonshine Farm. The farm includes 2 boys, four big dogs (Shep, Rocky, Sam, Hobie) and various farm animals. No shortage of ball throwing and dog romping!

Cori

Cori is a prized house sitter with glowing references. She also finds time to do dog walking and kitty sitting. Cori has been with us for 10 years and is available for house sitting in all areas.

Christina

Christina lives in South King County and is able to house sit and drop by to check in on pets including cats, dogs, or livestock.

She is a student at the University of Washington Tacoma campus and is a very dedicated horseback rider and owner of a rescued Blue Heeler.

Craig & Melissa

Craig, Melissa and Zephyr the Ruler have an ideal situation. They work different hours, so the doggie guests are seldom left for long by themselves. Craig & Melissa live in South Bellevue with Zeffer.

They both work, so sometimes doggies are alone together for a little while. They welcome one (MAYBE two) medium to large dog at a time. Craig and Melissa wish they could take more dogs, but their schedules won't allow it right now. Zeffer loves his guests!!!

Dave & Ann

Dave and Ann are off Avondale in Redmond in a beautiful home owned by Charlie the Westie. He allows small to medium dogs in to romp and play in his fenced backyard with a waterfall!

The children are grown and both Ann and Dave work from home. Come play with Charlie the Westie and take a dip in the backyard waterfall!

Doris

Doris is retired in a lovely condo in Newport Hills. Her husband is retired, too, so they can both spoil Jackson the Elderly Llasa and "Snowball the Reigning Maltese"!

Doris takes one one small dog at a time so they get her undivided attention...well, as much as possible when one is owned by a Maltese!!

Eileen

Eileen in Newcastle shares her home with two teenagers, a darling Corgi and a happy go lucky rotund Springer Spaniel.

Eileen's mom is there all day with the doggie guests, too. Eileen has energetic and playful dogs AND kids, so she likes to take in those medium to small dogs who don't add to the chaos!

Eva

Eva works from home in the Newcastle area and goes on long daily hikes with her 2 goldendoodles.

All non-shedding, non-aggressive dogs are welcome to stay and play with her pack.

Jane

Jane and Annie Blossom, Sadie Lulu and Poppy Sweetpea... all adorable rescued schnauzers, live and garden in Robinswood by BCC.

She works at home, so they spend time at the off leash park and there is plenty of extra time for love, hugs and kisses! Jane, Poppy and Sadie are the "unofficial" schnauzer sitters! They do welcome all small dogs.

Janelle

Janelle is our VERY special dog walker and kitty visitor. She has never met a pet who doesn't absolutely ADORE her!

Janelle is the most honest, loving, empathetic, reliable person I know. She was the first pet sitter I EVER left my dogs with waaaaay back in 1983!!! Her clients will never let her retire!

Kelley & Gene

Kelley & Gene's Bridle Trails retreat is the perfect haven for all medium-sized pooches! Kelley & Gene welcome your fully housebroken and cat-friendly dog to their home in Bridle Trails. A fully fenced yard, and plenty of dog beds (not to mention the couch) give your baby lots of room to run and relax while you are on vacation. A brisk walk every morning starts a day full of doggie fun.

Gene works at home, so generally your pet is not left alone for very long, although he/she should be capable of at least a few hours of quiet time. They accept one to two dogs at a time, depending on their personalities. They have one cat (who does not realize she is supposed to be afraid of dogs) and one smaller (Corgi/Terrier mix) dog.

Linda R.

Linda has raised dogs her whole life. Now dogless, she gets her fix by house sitting and spoiling your precious pets!

Linda R grew up with labs, but is not partial...she is an equal opportunity loving house sitter.

Lynda

Lynda, Sandy Dee, Pepito and Miss Jake welcome all small dogs who know Sandy is the boss!!!

They all walk to Robinswood Small Dog Park each day and sleep on the bed each night!

Marcia

Marcia is our own Pied Piper of South Bellevue. She has no dogs of her own, but her guest dogs all absolutely idolize her!

They get several long walks each day! Marcia retired from Alaska Airlines after 50 years and loves her new career as couch cuddler and frequent walker each day!

Mary

Mary and her husband are close to Valley Medical Center. They have a small backyard and Mary is home all day, so she walks them, too. Wonderful home atmosphere!

Mary loves being owned exclusively by each client's dog...she only takes one family at a time and DOTES on them!!

Mel & Ilene

Mel & Ilene have branched out into PLAYDAYS!! Ilene is so content to stay home, entertaining and BEING entertained by the dogs all day.

Drop off and pick up times are very flexible and the group is kept small, equally balanced between small and large guys! They also do regular boarding. Ilene, Mel and Pippin welcome all dogs into their South Bellevue home.

They have revamped their home and yard so small dogs can be separated from large ones. Ilene is home all day. Please read more about Ilene and Mel in doggie daycare.

Natalie

Hi my name is Eddie and I am a snotty. That is half Scottie half mini Schnauzer. I live in Bellevue and have a huge yard to wrestle in!

I also own a lady name Natalie who takes care of dogs in our home. Come visit us!

Neeraj

Neeraj lives in Surrey Downs with her husband, both of whom are owned by Jack Russell-Beagle, JACK!! He is marvelous host, showing his guests around the huge fenced yard, big house, big bed and taking them on the walkies each day!

Your baby will be alone no longer than 5 hours when Neeraj works, but JACK will entertain them!

Pat & Sully

Pat and Sully live in a lovely condo in Klahanie, and are constantly being pushed around by two tiny min pins.

Pat takes Skipper and "Devil Dog" Dinero, along with her guests to Beaver Lake Dog Park each day, where they can run through the woods, get dirty and tired, take a nap and do it all over again! Great fun!! Sully weighs in as a gruff marshmallow!

Ravin

Ravin is a wonderful housesitter. He works part time, but spends all free time in your home with your pets.

He is a college graduate and his family has been with Pet Vacations since 1993.

Sandy

Sandy is a retired tennis ace with many other interests, living in Woodcreek in Bellevue, currently without pets.

She prefers one dog at a time in order for her to devote all her free time to them. She walks them several times a day and spoils them like crazy!!!

Sharon & Tim

Sharon and Tim are located in the Kent/Covington area on 1/3 acre with a fenced backyard. They have 3 children over the age of 10 and Daisy, a very sweet and loving 6 yr old lab.

Sharon is a stay at home mom who occasionally substitute teaches. She and Daisy are very excited to meet new doggie friends!

Simrit

Simrit has been a reliable, loving caretaker for 13 years. She lives in Klahanie and has a small fenced backyard which bodes best for older dogs. Simrit and her son Ravin are long time caretakers.

Ravin also walks dogs. They have always had Goldens. They care for all well behaved dogs in their home, which has a smaller backyard.

Sonja

Sonja and her awesome dog Charlie, live in a home with a fenced area in Renton.

They prefer to care lovingly for dogs under 25 lbs. They walk the dogs and wash their little paws off when they return from their frequent jaunts!

Stephanie & Curtis

Stephanie is a busy mom who packs a lot into a day, but always makes her guests feel right at home and part of the family. They welcome small to medium dogs who LOVE CHILDREN!

Stephanie has a very active home with 4 kids and Carly the Bishon (oh, and Curtis the husband!) The family has been lovingly caring for pets since 1999 and now have a restored two story home and hardwood floors, a doggie door and a huge yard.

They are in May Valley area, 15 minutes from Sea-Tac.

Suzanne

This peaceful rambler home in Robinswood is the perfect place for your older pet. Suzanne, in Robinswood, is retired and has a rambler with no steps convenient for older pets.

She and Caesar the Cockapoo welcome well behaved, quiet dogs into their loving home and beautiful garden with a fenced yard.

Vicki

Vicki was 7 years old when she trained her 1st dog. She and her daughter now share their large comfy home on the East Hill in Kent, a big fenced yard and a great walking park nearby.

They prefer dogs who need that special something 'extra', perhaps are aggressive or need work on behavioral issues. All medium to large breeds are welcome!!

Carrie & Brian

Brian and Carrie live in Burien with their 13 year old son Toby and their 4 small, friendly dogs. Carrie is a stay at home mom and there is almost always somebody home.

Their 2 mini schnauzers, westie-poo, and yorkie-poo love to play in their big, fenced backyard and would love to have your dog(s) join them! They are 10 minutes from the airport and close to many major freeways (518, 509, I-5, 405, 167).

Your dog(s) will enjoy the same privileges as theirs do; playing outside, going on the furniture, sleeping on the bed, smudging up the front window, and getting tons of love!

Cyndie

Cyndie, her three boys and one lively dog provide a "never a dull moment" loving home in Covington

Misty

Misty lives in Issaquah on the south side of Squak Mountain with her husband Toby, Wookie the Pomeranian and two cats; Amber & Topaz. In addition to dogs and cats, Misty has owned and therefore familiar with the care of reptiles, rodents, birds, goats and horses. She has even worked with exotic/wild animals from tiny baby squirrels to a full grown lion and tiger. So any and all types of small to medium sized animals are welcome and can be kept safely separated from each other in the spacious 3000+ sq. ft. house.

Misty only works part-time outside of the home in the afternoons at Cougar Mountain Zoo. So weather permitting, each day starts out with a nice long walk after breakfast to see and smell all this rural location (which is adjacent to a state park) has to offer the canine senses.

Michelle

Michelle lives in Issaquah with her Golden Retriever, Chihuahua, 2 kitties and her partner (who knows he is at the end of the list!).

Michelle is an artist who works out of her home, so the pets are rarely alone. She has a huge, fenced backyard.

Rachel

Rachel and Jim live in Fall City with a large, fully fenced yard where their two friendly 6-year-old yellow labs chase tennis balls to their heart's content!

Their family also includes 2 little girls and an 11-year-old indoor cat. Jim works from home, Rachel works 2 days per week as a nurse. We have space for everyone, including a room that would be purrfect for any indoor kitty - a nice private space for your cat to have time to get used to his or her vacation accommodations.

Also, our dogs would love to play hosts for yours, especially if your dog has been around little kids in the past. We can't wait to meet your furry friend!

Scott and Staci

Scott and Staci live in Covington, have two children over 10 yr. and Lucy, an English Springer Spaniel, who is 2 years old.

A fully fenced back yard and plenty of room inside their home is more than enough to keep Lucy and YOUR dog entertained.

Chris and Pam

Chris and Pam live on the West Hill of Auburn, close to Hwy 167, I-5, and Hwy 18 and there's almost always someone home. 'Guests' can enjoy playing in the half acre of fenced yard with Haley (mini Schnauzer), Josie (mini Schnauzer), Molly (mini Aussie/Jack Russell Terrier), and Jack Quigley (Wire Fox Terrier).

If your dog needs grooming, Chris is pretty good with clippers, specializing in mini Schnauzer pet cuts.

Jennifer & John

Jennifer & John live on The Plateau with children, Sean & Casey, along with Samantha, a beautiful 5 year old yellow lab!

Jen mainly works out of the house as a Travel Consultant, so no dog is ever left alone for too long!! Jennifer's family would love to have your dog become part of their family during your time away.
